A huge card to close out the year, Edwards enters his second title defense with an elevel fight win streak. A streak which included back-tback wins of the man he dethroned, Kamaru Usman. Meanwhile, Covington is set for his first time back in the octagon since he defeated Jorge Masvidal in the main card of UFC 272, nearly two years ago. Many UFC fans have been waiting for the day that Covington returns, and no one saw the final card being the one he comes back for. Supporting the main card, Alexandre Pantoja will defend his newly secured championship against Brandon Royval in a highly anticipated rematch. In their first meeting, Pantoja submitted Royval, but it might not be quite so easy the second time.
